Namespaces

Create a namespace

Step-by-step in the dashboard.

Not verified yet

A namespace is your translation workspace. Create one per app, module, or client project.

In the dashboard

Open LangSync

Sign in at app.norcube.com and switch to LangSync from the product switcher in the sidebar.

Open Namespaces

Click Namespaces in the left nav, then New namespace (top-right of the list).

Fill in the form

  • Name – short slug, alphanumeric with hyphens or underscores (web-app, marketing_site). This appears in API paths.
  • Context – free-text description of what lives in this namespace. The AI reads it whenever it translates a term from here. Be specific: "Product UI strings for the mobile checkout flow" beats "App".
  • Default language – the language your source strings are written in. Defaults to English (en-US).

Save

Click Create. You'll land on the namespace's terms page – empty until you add a language and your first term.

Add a target language

Open Languages

Inside the namespace, click Languages in the sidebar.

Add and pick

Click Add language, pick one from the list of shared languages, and save. Repeat for each language you want to ship in.

You can also create custom languages here if you need a dialect or a pseudo-locale.
